How many breweries will I visit?
Each of our tours will visit three Indianapolis breweries. All stops are subject to change based on hours of operation and special events at the breweries. To see the most likely routes for each tour, select the tour you are interested in under Buy Tickets.
Are the breweries the same for each tour?
No. Due to the different hours of operation for each brewery, the tours will adjust accordingly. But don’t worry – all the breweries we visit are unique and delicious. We’ve taste-tested them all! How long will the tour last?
What does the tour include?
The tour includes transportation to and from your downtown, Broad Ripple or Greenwood pick up location to three local breweries on a three-hour tour, a pint of your choice at each brewery, bottles of water on the bus, coolers on board to keep your purchased growlers cold, a Personal Sampling Scorecard to help you keep track of the all the beers you like and the unforgettable experience of drinking with friends on a bright green school bus. Also, a number of our breweries offer merchandise and/or beer container discounts for Indy Brew Bus passengers. Feel free to order a growler or 4-pack to go for your enjoyment on the bus on the way to the next brewery, or keep it cold in our on-board coolers to save for later.
I have a group including 14 people or less, can I rent the bus for a private party?

Will I receive actual tickets? Do I need to print my confirmation?
You will receive a confirmation email when your payment is received. You will not receive actual tickets. Please either print your confirmation email or have it handy on your smart phone when you board the bus.
Can I select a pick up location outside of Downtown Indianapolis for the Downtown Tour?
We want to ensure you spend the maximum amount of time at each brewery. Due to limits on time and resources, we do not offer pick-ups and drop offs from locations outside the Downtown Indianapolis area. You may choose a hotel, restaurant, bar or other location for pick up, within this pick-up zone. We do, however, offer separate tours that depart from Broad Ripple, Greenwood and Carmel.
If I buy a growler, can I bring it on the bus?
Can I bring my empty growler or bullet from home to refill?
A growler is a glass jug that typically carries a half-gallon of fresh beer. Growlers are filled straight from the tap and sealed with a twist-cap. Once you purchase your initial glass growler, refills cost significantly less. Most breweries will fill growlers from other establishments; however, due to Indiana state law they may place a sticker from the brewery on the glass. Most breweries offer a smaller container, called a bullet, as well. Beer typically stays fresh one week after the fill date.
Can I bring my own alcohol on board?

What is the behavior and sick policy?
Keep in mind that the beers that you will be sampling can be up to three times higher in alcohol by volume domestic beer. We want you to have a good time but if you become too intoxicated to the point of being disruptive to other bus passengers or brewery guests, you will be ejected from the bus and NO refunds will be given. If you get sick on the bus you will be charged up to $150 as a clean up fee.
Do you have a phone number I can call?

What is your cancellation/return policy?
What if I’m the only one who books a ticket?
We reserve the right to cancel a tour if less than six (6) people have booked 24 hours prior to your tour. At that time, you will be refunded your money, or you can select an alternate tour date.
What is your weather policy?
The Indy Brew Bus will run rain/snow or shine. The only reason a tour may be cancelled is if Marion County is under a Weather Warning or at the discretion of the owners if conditions are deemed unsafe. Either way you will be contacted prior to your tour for rescheduling.

What if I have a gluten allergy or I'm pregnant?
We do not offer any discounts for guests with a gluten allergy or non-drinkers. We do offer a cider and beer tour that includes both New Day Craft and Ash and Elm in addition to including breweries with other options as well.
The reason that we do not offer a special ticket is that the price of our ticket covers the cost of the tour guide, the whole learning experience, the transportation, the water/cups etc. The beer is provided by the breweries. To us there is no difference in our cost if someone is drinking or not drinking. You are welcome to bring any non-alcoholic drinks on board for those who are not consuming alcohol. We provide the opportunity to learn about craft beer and breweries aside from just drinking it and certainly have had people on tours before who don’t drink and still have a great time.
I am planning a tour, can I split payment with other guests?
Split payment allows customers who book via checkout the opportunity to split the cost of the booking with one another. After confirming your payment details, you will be presented with the option to choose how much of the booking you are paying for. You can either enter an arbitrary amount or use the help calculate link. In addition to a Confirmation email, you will receive a Booking Invitation email. The Booking Invitation Email contains a button that allows anyone to Split Payment and join the booking. You can then forward this email to anyone you would like to Split Payment with. When another guest joins the booking, they will be prompted to fill out questionnaire and pay, then they will receive a confirmation email. All payments are due 2 days before the tour. If there is an unpaid balance due at this time, your card will be charged for that amount.
